Network Meeting - March 2025
For our first evening talk of the year, after our Ancient Canids Symposium in January, we were thrilled to hear from our committee member Mattias Sherman. Mattias is a first year PhD student at the Francis Crick Institute and presented some of his ongoing work on aDNA damage:
“The ‘gap’ in ancient DNA: exploring two competing hypotheses for aDNA degradation patterns”
His talk was followed by a lively Q&A and a networking session. It was fantastic to see researchers from such a diverse range of institutions and hear the wide-ranging conversations this led to!
